MTV Video Music Awards 2016: le nomination




MTV ha annunciato le nomination degli MTV Video Music Awards 2016, con Beyoncé che si è guadagnata il suo record personale di ben 11 nomination per i video dal suo ultimo lavoro Lemonade e Adele che ha ottenuto 8 nominations, di cui 7 per il video di Hello che ha infranto tutti i record su YouTube. Hello, Formation di Beyoncé, Hotline Bling di Drake, Sorry di Justin Bieber e Famous di Kanye West hanno ottenuto la nomination di “Video of the Year”.

Gli “MTV Video Music Awards 2016 saranno trasmessi live dal Madison Square Garden di New York. In Italia andranno in onda nella notte tra domenica 28 e lunedì 29 Agosto a partire dalle 2:00 su MTV (in esclusiva su Sky al canale 133).

Per fare eco a quest’anno in cui i più grandi artisti del mondo hanno spinto i loro video verso nuove vette artistiche, MTV ha rivelato i nominati di “Video of the Year” su un ampio e panoramico murales creato da artisti visuali di fama mondiale come BD White, John Paul Ogrodnick (JPO), Damien Mitchell, Marc Evan, Resa, BKFoxx, Queen Andrea, Hektad, Giz, Such e Poem One nel First Street Green Art Park dell’East Village di New York. Lo svelamento del murales è stato trasmesso attraverso un evento su Facebook Live presentato dagli inviati di MTV News Meredith Graves e Gaby Wilson tramite MTV e una coalizione di più di 15 partner, tra cui organi di stampa e brand.
