Dopo il successo di Maps e di Animals arriva Sugar, terzo singolo dei Maroon 5 estratto dall’ultimo album V pubblicato lo scorso settembre per Universal Music. Nel video del brano la band si imbuca al maggior numero possibile di matrimoni suscitando la gioia irrefrenabile degli invitati e, soprattutto, delle spose.
La clip è stata girata nella soleggiata Los Angeles a dicembre. Il gruppo, alla ricerca di una location romantica e spontanea che si adattasse alla canzone, ha deciso di vestire i panni dei wedding-crashers, ovvero invitati imbucati.
Adam Levine, l’affascinante leader della band, ha così portato un po’ di scompiglio durante diversi pranzi di nozze. E, a giudicare dalle reazioni più che entusiaste del pubblico femminile e in particolare delle neo spose, ha rischiato di mandare all’aria matrimoni appena iniziati.
Per fortuna anche i mariti hanno apprezzato il concerto privato e improvvisato che i Maroon 5 hanno riservato loro, e i saloni si sono rapidamente trasformati in piste da ballo.
Intanto sale la febbre per l’unica data italiana (sold-out) di Adam Levine e soci il 12 giugno al Mediolanum Forum di Assago (Milano). Sarà questa l’occasione per riascoltare dal vivo i più grandi successi del gruppo e i brani contenuti nell’ultimo disco V, che PopSoap aveva recensito in occasione della sua pubblicazione.
