Robbie Williams ha annunciato titolo, data di uscita e tracklist del suo nuovo, attesissimo album di inediti. Heavy Entertainment Show, questo il nome del progetto, vede anche grandi collaborazioni al suo interno.

Tra poco si esibirà sul palco londinese dell’Apple Music Festival ed è probabile che presenti qualche brano del nuovo disco, ma nel frattempo Robbie Williams ha rotto il silenzio fornendo i primi, fondamentali dettagli sul suo prossimo album, il primo dopo il passaggio a Sony Music.

L’ex Take That pubblicherà il 4 novembre Heavy Entertainment Show, che è già disponibile per il pre-order in versione standard e deluxe. Tanti i nomi d’eccezione che hanno preso parte alla scrittura dei nuovi brani della popstar: tra questi anche Stuart Price, Guy Chambers, Brandon Flowers, Ed Sheeran, John Grant, Rufus Wainwright e persino Serge Gainsbourg.

A proposito del disco, che uscirà anche in vinile, Robbie Williams ha dichiarato: «Stavo riflettendo sul concetto di ‘light entertainment’ – ovvero tutti i piú importanti show televisivi di quando ero un bambino, con 30 milioni di telespettatori davanti alla tv che condividevano insieme una grande esperienza. Ho pensato che a volte questo spettacolo può arrivare alle persone anche in modo forte e questo è per me “heavy entertainment”. Ed è proprio quello che spero di fare con questo album: condividere un’esperienza con milioni di persone con un mezzo di intrattenimento leggero… ma con gli steroidi!”.

Robbie ha condiviso anche la tracklist del suo nuovo lavoro e, al contrario di quanto ci si aspettava, non c’è alcuna traccia del vociferato duetto con Kylie Minogue, che a questo punto potrebbe vedere la luce nel disco natalizio dell’artista australiana.
