Dal 21 dicembre è entrato in rotazione radiofonica Sorry, il nuovo singolo di Justin Bieber estratto dall’album Purpose, disco in testa alle classifiche di tutto il mondo. In mezza giornata le due date italiane del tour mondiale dell’artista previste a Bologna nel novembre 2016 hanno fatto registrare il tutto esaurito.
Il 2015 è stato l’anno di Justin Bieber. Forte del successo planetario della hit What Do You Mean?, l’artista canadese ha pubblicato a novembre il nuovo disco di inediti Purpose, che ha conquistato la posizione #1 della Billboard 200 diventando ufficialmente il più grande debutto dell’anno. Non solo: a novembre Justin è risultato il primo artista di sempre a piazzare contemporaneamente nella top40 di Billboard ben 8 singoli, e a scalzare dalla vetta della classifica un proprio brano con un altro suo stesso singolo. Come se non bastasse è risultato il primo, dai tempi dei Beatles nel 1968, a mantenere le prime due posizioni per tre settimane di file.
Il successo continua con Sorry, secondo singolo estratto dall’album appena entrato in rotazione nelle radio italiane, malgrado il video sia stato pubblicato da diverse settimane totalizzando 354 milioni di visualizzazioni. Il brano è stato prodotto da Skrillex e Blood ed è già disco di platino in Italia.
L’amore del pubblico nostrano nei confronti di Justin Bieber ha inoltre portato ad un rapidissimo sold out le due date previste per il 19 e 20 novembre 2016 all’Unipol Arena di Bologna.
Tra i prossimi impegni della popstar ci sono i Brit Awards, in programma il 24 febbraio e che lo vedranno tra i performer della serata. Nel 2011 Justin si era aggiudicato il premio nella categoria International Breakthrough Act.
