Arriva oggi nelle radio italiane 7 Years, nuovo singolo di Lukas Graham che anticipa la pubblicazione dell’album di debutto in uscita il 4 marzo. Lukas è un 27enne danese definito “un poeta che scrive come un rapper” e ha già conquistato un bel bottino di dischi di platino in Europa con il brano in questione. Ora si prepara a invadere anche le classifiche nostrane.

Nato a Christiania, la famosa comunità hippie di artisti nel centro di Copenhagen, Lukas Graham ha sviluppato un talento naturale per canzoni oneste e toccanti, proprio come 7 Years, uno sguardo al passato e al futuro dedicato a suo padre, morto all’età di 61 anni.

Il brano ha la rarissima capacità di esprimere la profondità dell’esperienza umana in un modo semplice e diretto, come poche volte succede nel mondo pop. Lukas Graham ci farà ridere, piangere e allo stesso tempo riflettere sulla vita. I testi sono sempre al centro di tutto, mentre nella musica si fondono elementi soul e pop accompagnati da quella voce da soprano che arriva dritta al cuore.

7 Years è già doppio disco di platino in Danimarca, triplo platino in Svezia, e platino in Olanda e in Norvegia.

Il secondo album omonimo di Lukas Graham vedrà la pubblicazione in America e nella maggior parte dei territori al di fuori della Danimarca il 4 marzo per Warner Bros. In patria è già quattro volte platino, è restato al primo posto della classifica dei più venduti per  15 settimane consecutive e ha infranto il record dell’album con maggiori stream arrivando a ottenerne 839.000 nelle prime 24 ore di pubblicazione.
